Chichester District Council covers an area of over 300 square miles of the Western part of West Sussex, bordering Hampshire and Surrey. The district encompasses Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and nature reserves, with much of the district area designated as falling within the area of the National Park of the South Downs.
