Freedom Works is a newly opened co-working space, located in the heart of Worthing. Its main focus is to bring together like-minded freelancers, entrepreneurs, start-up and growing businesses in a flexible and affordable space.
Not wanting to just be like any other office space, Freedom Works aims to give their members a ‘workspace home’ – somewhere that they can work, meet other people and ‘develop their dreams’, for as little as £12 a day – which also includes refreshments (including Free Beer Fridays!) and fast Wi-Fi.
Their spacious open plan offices are great for collaborative working and bringing together local talent. The creators behind the co-working hub are especially focused on growing home-grown talent and ensuring business thrives locally, rather than businesses needing to be based in London.
After 9 months there are just under 100 members working within this collaborative work place. “Being able to work within the same environment we have seen our members collaborate and join forces to win projects that as stand alones they would not have won…and as working within a larger business, you are all under one roof. We have accountants helping out developers, developers working for brand and design agencies, brand and design agencies winning pitches as they now have a ‘design department’….the spiral of close co-operation generates business which stays in Worthing”, comments Jon Trigg, founder of Freedom Works.
