Higgidy, the well-known pie factory in Shoreham-by Sea, has seen a 75% increase in sales over the last year. The company specialises in producing hand-made pies which are proving a commercial success. To meet popular demand,Higgidy prepared 7,343,697 pies and quiches in 2013.
Award-winning baker and businesswoman Camilla Stephens co-founded Higgidy in 2003. Since then the company has made over 28 million pies and quiches. Higgidy was among the top 100 fastest-growing businesses in the UK from 2008 to 2011; turnover in 2010 was £10 million, growing to £15 million in 2013.
