West Sussex County Council have recently launched a new website www.businesswestsussex.co.uk the site contains a wide range of information for businesses in West Sussex, such as-

- Business grant opportunities
- Funding opportunities
- Trading standards information
- Planning information
- Details on business rates
- Information on workplace health
There are also links to other useful sources such as district and borough councils, business support organisations and education providers.
The launch of Business West Sussex is part of the Council’s commitment to support businesses, and create a vibrant local economy for the benefit of everyone who lives and works in West Sussex. It is being led and managed by the Council’s Economic Development Team.
West Sussex County Council Leader, Louise Goldsmith, said: “Local businesses told us that, whilst they knew the County Council could offer them a huge amount of support and information, they just didn’t know how or where to access it.We have listened and taken their comments on board, and the result is the new Business West Sussex website, which will provide them with a simple way of getting the help they want from the Council”.
“The Council is committed to doing everything it can to support the local economy. A key part of that commitment is simplifying the way in which we communicate with businesses, and making it easier for them to grow and thrive in West Sussex, and Business West Sussex is a great place to start.”
