For this week’s installment of our #ThisIsLiving series we’re ‘bigging up’ Bognor Regis and why it’s such a fantastic place to live and work. Here are just a few reasons…

Bognor Regis is a town with strong economic potential and continues to re-invent itself as a 21st century coastal town.

It sees itself firmly as part of the great British seaside renaissance and major investments are transforming its tourist offer, including £36 million by Butlin’s into a state-of-the-art leisure and splash pool.

Plans are also being taken forward to build a new 3,000 sqm Winter Gardens on the seafront as part of a mixed development on this premier site.

The recent investment by Rolls Royce Motor Cars and the University of Chichester demonstrate a growing confidence in Bognor Regis as an investment location.

Other major development opportunities include Enterprise Bognor Regis, a 70-hectare commercial and employment development opportunity located on the northern edge of the town, which has the potential to accommodate 150 businesses and provide over 4,000 new jobs.

“Bognor Regis is a fantastic town to live in,” Caroline Wood, Director of the Coastal West Sussex Partnership – and Bognor Regis resident – says.

“From its historical seaside heritage and the fact it still retains visits from an impressive number of tourists each year, to its investment potential, there are plenty of reasons to ‘big up’ Bognor Regis!”
