The Coastal West Sussex Partnership is delighted to welcome two new members to its management group and board.

Kevin Emmett, Technical and Operations Director at composite manufacturer Supernatural-x, joins the management group alongside Fiona Shafer, Managing Director of MDHUB, the premier peer to peer business growth network in the South of England.

As part of his role at Supernatural-x in Bognor Regis, Kevin works with schools and colleges to educate and inspire young people to pursue careers in engineering.

Kevin said: “I’m so excited to be joining a great team of people on the Coastal West Sussex Partnership management group and hope I can help to influence decisions in the local community and bring about positive change, particularly on the skills agenda.

“I’ve now lived on the coast for 30 years and I just love this part of the world – it has a lot to offer.”

As Managing Director at MDHUB, Fiona is passionate about leading the team alongside her co director Phil Green, in helping and supporting Managing Directors and Senior Board Directors to grow sustainable businesses. MDHUB supports business leaders with a range of services, including confidential peer learning, leadership and management training and business support consultancy.

Fiona said: “I am absolutely delighted to have been asked to join Coastal West Sussex Partnership by Director Caroline Wood.

Fiona Shafer

“Caroline and I have worked together in the business support arena in a variety of roles over the past 20 years, having first worked together in the Business Link Network, supporting SMEs in Sussex.

“I know we share an absolute passion for supporting leaders in growing their businesses and in turn their workforces and skills base, which in turn contributes to growing the West Sussex economy in particular.

“Through my work with the MDHUB and business leaders, I hope to bring a wide breadth of experience, representation and feedback on the needs of businesses to the Partnership.”

The Coastal West Sussex Partnership is always looking for new members to join the Partnership and is particularly interested to hear from those working in the creative and tech sectors, or the visitor economy.
