Permanent Contract – Salary from £39,002 to £43,757 per annum
Chichester District Council is looking to appoint an Economic Development Manager who can develop and deliver the Council’s Economic Development Strategy, to ensure the District maintains its economic vitality and a healthy employment position.
You will provide professional advice, guidance and support in economic development matters across the Council, plus work with partners on the development of new initiatives and act as the Council’s representative at economic development events.
You will have an in depth understanding of key business drivers and motivations and have relevant experience gained either in the public sector or in commercial business.
The post will require you to have excellent written and verbal communication skills and you must be able to act as a positive ambassador for economic development in the District.
