Smaller businesses sometimes struggle to engage with sustainability, because it’s hard to find the time, money or opportunity to learn. There is often the perception that it’s nice to do, but too difficult with the competing pressures of business.

This class (which is part of the University of Brighton’s Green Growth Platform events programme) has been designed specifically to benefit smaller and medium sized businesses, demystifying some of the corporate jargon and giving delegates some great ideas to help manage the risks and opportunities of sustainability, reduce costs and build their reputation. It will equip managers with the skills they need to integrate important issues into day-to-day decision-making.

We’ll include up-to-date case studies, current trends and examples, with techniques and tools to take away including a prioritised action plan and communications strategy.
