It has been announced that several successful projects in Coastal West Sussex have been granted part of the government’s £3m Coastal Revival Fund.  The projects include Bognor Regis Heritage Quarter, Start Station at Bognor Regis Railway Station and Shoreham Fort. The Coastal West Sussex Partnership, now a Coastal Communities Team, will help these projects to move forward.

The funding is being awarded to successful applicants as part of the government’s commitment to reviving our seaside towns, so they can diversify their economy, attract investment and secure their long-term future. Communities Minister Brandon Lewis said the projects will each receive grants of up to £50,000 to kick-start restoration work.

Bognor Regis Railway station plans to create a a digital and creative hub for new digital start-up businesses.
