METALL is a forum for manufacturing, engineering and technology businesses in the geographical area around the South Coast and Gatwick Diamond regions.

They aim to bring together businesses in these three complementary sectors to help them network with each other, share best practice, signpost growth opportunities and give them the opportunity to attend thought-provoking presentations and discuss the issues affecting business – making Metall a must-know for any local businesses within manufacturing, engineering and technology.

One of the ways they encourage local businesses to come together is via their events (mostly free). As well as providing informative presentations, the events give attendees the opportunity to share their experiences to help other businesses, plus to suggest topics for subsequent meetings.

The next event in November, at Rolls-Royce in Chichester, will cover what you should think about if you’re looking for a contract to supply an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and what OEMs might be looking for in a supplier. You can find out more about this event here.

Becoming a METALL member is easy too – once you register to an attend an event (and meet the criteria), you’ll automatically be a member.

METALL have established a strong cohort of members building local relationships between businesses, education, Local Enterprise Partnerships and local government with the aim of helping business become more efficient and profitable.
