A new website has been launched to showcase Coastal West Sussex and what our area has to offer companies and organisations in the UK and abroad. Managed by West Sussex County Council, the Invest West Sussex site is designed to encourage business investment in the county. It provides visitors with information about the local economy, investment opportunities and business support. Invest West Sussex also features a free commercial property search and interactive map.
The website covers the three business areas in West Sussex which include Coastal West Sussex, the Gatwick Diamond and Rural West Sussex. Coastal West Sussex is described as having a diverse range of small and growing businesses and specific niches in branches of advanced engineering, tourism, food and drink and marine related activities.The site also emphasises that our coastline and access to markets through Shoreham Port are key assets.
Louise Goldsmith, West Sussex County Council Leader and Cabinet Member for the Economy, said: “This new website showcases West Sussex to potential new business investors who are looking to launch a new business or set up headquarters in the area.
“We may be biased, but we think that West Sussex has got a huge amount to offer. It is a great place to work, rest and play and we are committed to doing everything we can to promote the county as a great business and living location.”
