This year the SEF is offering two streams of grant funding as a means of investing in the social enterprise sector for the longer term. These are-
Stream 1- Organisations want to explore social enterprise development:Maximum grant to be awarded to an individual or organisation is £5,000 to enable to explore and investigate idea for social enterprise businesses to assess if have a viable business proposition. Proposals must be a business idea linked to clear social objectives. Deadline 12th August 2014 Click here for application formand guidelines.
Stream 2- Delivery products/services as a social enterprise:Maximum grant to be awarded to an individual or organisation is £25,000 to deliver new products or services as a social enterprise. Proposals must be a business idea linked to clear social objectives working to achieve social impact when delivering services and products as a social enterprise. Application for stream 2 funding has two phases expression of interest deadline 14th August- click here for expression of interest form and deadline for full bid application 18th November click her for full bid application formand guidelines. You will be invited to submit a full bid application form if your proposal has been selected from your expression of interest.
You can apply for either stream 1 or stream 2 funding, not for both.
